Michael is an experienced conductor and music director, having worked in this industry for over 25 years. Michael has experience working with the following:

Depending on the notice given, Michael may be able to dep (fill in) for a single rehearsal or list of rehearsals.

Michael has experience with professional, semi-professional and community organisations. Michael also works with Secondary and Primary Schools, specialist music programs and general music.

FAQs

Aside from professional gigs, can you work with primary or secondary school ensembles?

Michael regularly works with all levels of musicians and welcomes the opportunity to conduct young musicians in various ensembles. School location is considered when accepting bookings. Contact MTMUSIC for more information.

Our regular conductor is unavailable for a performance or rehearsal. Can you fill-in?

Yes, Michael can fill in (dep) for a regular conductor or music director in most instances. Advance notice is appreciated, and detailed information is required before booking.

Do you run courses or seminars for ensembles?

Yes, depending on the ensemble and what is required, Michael may assist you with a one-off or set of seminars/classes. Contact MTMUSIC for more information.

Do you conduct rehearsals online?

Unfortunately, no. Due to internet delays, software limitations and other challenges, it is complicated to conduct an ensemble online. During COVID-19, Michael moved to online rehearsals for some ensembles, but this is not a regular service provided.
